The functionality of a Fire Door is an imperative part of any buildings fire protection systems, compartmenting rooms and corridors to aid in protecting occupants and contents in the event of a fire.

Our experienced Fire Door Specialists will inspect each individual Fire Door, ascertaining all components are compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Our Fire Door Surveys investigate the following:

 

• Door assembly (leaf, door frame, hinges, locks/levers/handles)

• Door closer (self-closing devices)

• Gaps around the door and threshold gaps

• Intumescent door strip and cold smoke seals

• Glazing (vision panels)

• Fire safety signage

• Hold open devices

A fully comprehensive written report is submitted upon completion where one of our dedicated Account Managers will walk you through all findings, recommendations and a bespoke action plan to ensure the safety of your building occupants and assets.

 

At Conformance we install as well as maintain fire doors. Installation and testing will be in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987 (British Standard)
