Emergency lighting is required in the event of power failure.

They run independently from the main power source via internal batteries.

 

Monthly tests are required to comply with regulations as well as an annual testing to ensure that the batteries can last a minimum of THREE HOURS and will function in the event of an emergency.

Testing to comply with BS 5266:2016 and a certificate of satisfactory will be awarded to fully functional systems.
